Welcome to VitaFlex!

A common complaint on payday is how much of your income disappears for taxes. Why not take every opportunity to keep as much of your hard-earned money as you can? There are plenty of medical, dental, and dependent day care expenses you pay on a regular basis that can be paid with untaxed money.

With a Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you estimate the amount of money that you and your family expect to spend throughout the upcoming Plan Year for eligible medical, dental, and/or daycare expenses, and you make an election to match that estimate. Each paycheck during that year will set aside a portion of the elected amount – this “payroll reduction” will take place before taxes. Whenever you or someone in your family incurs an eligible expense, you can submit a claim to VitaFlex and be reimbursed for that expense with tax-free money. Online Account Access

VitaFlex offers the convenience of accessing your account information, claim details, quarterly statements and much more online. Submitting Claims

VitaFlex processes claims within one business day of receiving them. All FSA claims require third-party substantiation, and the IRS provides guidelines for what is necessary in order to approve a claim. In addition to a VitaFlex Claim Form, each claim you submit must be accompanied by documentation that includes all of the following information:

  • Service Provider’s Name
  • Patient’s Name
  • Date of Service (not date of payment!)
  • Description of Service (or name of drug)
  • Cost of Service
    • If insurance is covering any portion of the expense, we cannot accept documentation with estimated insurance amounts

There are several expenses that require additional pieces of information in order to be approved for reimbursement, so we strongly suggest consulting the Eligible Expense Database for information on what is necessary to approve a claim.
