Ellen Schortgen
Ellen Schortgen joined Vita in 1987, bringing an eclectic background of marketing communication, technical writing and event coordination skills to the team. As a senior level Account Executive, she is responsible for a broad range of employer group clients, helping them with every aspect of employee benefit plan selection and maintenance, from initial research to plan installation and day to day administration.
Ellen earned her professional designation of Health Insurance Associate in 1993 and is currently pursuing coursework on the way to a second designation as a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist. This background makes her a very effective problem solver and negotiator on behalf of Vita’s clients.
