Rae Lee Olson
The second principal of Vita, Rae Lee Olson, joined the company after graduating from Stanford University in 1984.
Rae Lee is uniquely well-qualified in the employee benefits and personal financial planning world, with over 20 years experience in developing practical solutions to complex employee benefits challenges. In addition to her deep benefits knowledge, she also has a wealth of experience to share regarding employee benefits compliance, including HIPAA Privacy and Security, COBRA compliance and IRC Section 125 oversight issues. In this role she has spearheaded the development of comprehensive in-house COBRA and Section 125 compliance systems for Vita . Rae Lee works with companies from the smallest dynamic start-ups to the largest employers in the nation, including a gig with Wal-Mart! Her true passion is working with companies who value intelligent solutions to what are often complex problems .
Rae Lee has also represented agents in congressional testimony to the Joint Committee on Taxation and testified numerous times to the California legislature on insurance issues. She is a recipient of the G. Cameron Hurst Professional of the Year Award, an award honoring one life and financial services advisor each year for outstanding service to the profession. She has served five years on the national board for the Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education (LIFE).
