VitaFlex® is a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) plan that allows employees the opportunity to save taxes. Under an FSA plan, participants make an annual election to reduce their taxable income by an amount equal to the amount they anticipate spending on qualified medical and dependent care expenses.
Then, upon incurring medical and dependent care expenses, participants submit claims for tax-free reimbursement from their employer. Participants save federal income taxes, state income taxes, Social Security taxes and Medicare taxes.
